The use of fiber-reinforced high-performance concrete (FRHPC) is becoming moreextended; therefore it is necessary to develop tools to simulate and better understand its behavior. Inthis work, a discrete model for the analysis of fracture mechanics in FRHPC is presented. The plainconcrete matrix, made of mortar and coarse aggregates, is modeled by means of a three-dimensionalrandom particle model. The fiber inclusions are modeled as truss elements linked to the matrix viaspecial interface elements. Fiber pull-out tests are performed to characterize the interface behaviorand implemented into direct tension tests with different fiber configurations.
